On January 5, 2016, in Anchorage, Alaska, 18-year-old Chloe Anna Duke was tragically killed in a double homicide that also claimed the life of her mother, 40-year-old Shannon Duke. The incident occurred in their South Anchorage home, where Chloe was fatally shot by her 15-year-old brother, Corbin Duke. The tragedy unfolded when Corbin, after being out all night, was awakened by his mother to perform chores.
