White / Caucasian, Female Brittany Mae Haag, 22, was shot on April 19, 2017, inside the Midtown Anchorage apartment she shared with her boyfriend, after a pre-dawn 911 call brought first responders to the 5600 block of Lake Otis Parkway. She was rushed to a local hospital and pronounced dead shortly after arrival. Investigators and prosecutors later described a single gunshot that entered her upper torso near the armpit and struck vital organs, ending the life of the 22-year-old Anchorage woman.
