On April 19, 2017, in Anchorage, Alaska, 22-year-old Brittanymae P. Haag tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, Victor Sibson. In the early hours of that day, Haag sought help from a neighbor, reporting a shooting. Responding officers found her with a gunshot wound; she was transported to a hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.
