On May 13, 2015, in Anchorage, Alaska, 17-month-old Zarielle Young was found deceased alongside her family in their south Anchorage home. The victims included her father, 24-year-old Curtis Young III; her mother, 27-year-old Desiree Gonzalez; and her 4-year-old brother, Zaiden Young.
