On December 24, 2016, 32-year-old Danielle Brooks and her husband, 38-year-old Christopher Brooks, were fatally shot during a home invasion in Anchorage, Alaska. The incident occurred in the Mountain View neighborhood, where the couple resided with Danielle's 6-year-old son.
