On December 29, 2019, 64-year-old David Ironhorse was fatally shot in his apartment at 851 E. Minnesota Street in Rapid City, South Dakota. The incident began shortly after 5:00 p.m. when police responded to reports of multiple gunshots from a second-floor apartment.
