Murdered

On September 6, 2020, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Rapid City police responded to a shooting at a residence in the 3800 block of Hemlock Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 31-year-old William Clifford of Box Elder lying on the garage floor with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Despite emergency life-saving efforts, Clifford was pronounced dead at the scene.
