On the morning of May 9, 2024, in Huron, South Dakota, 41-year-old Nichole "Nikki" Klich, a White/Caucasian female, was fatally shot. The incident prompted an investigation by the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the Huron Police Department.
