On November 28, 2013, 25-year-old Matthew Ryan Boyer was fatally shot at his home in Gillette, Wyoming. Early that morning, a woman called 911, reporting that someone had knocked on their door and shot her boyfriend. Boyer was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly thereafter.
