Death by Force

In the cold hours before dawn on December 16, 2022, officers followed the echo of a single shot to the 100 block of East Laurel Street in Gillette, Wyoming.

There, they found David Alexander Valencia, a 26-year-old White male, wounded in the head on the roadside.

Emergency crews rushed the 26-year-old male to Campbell County Health, where he was pronounced dead, and the coroner scheduled an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.
