On September 25, 2016, 49-year-old Laurie Margaret Thompson was found deceased in her Dubois, Wyoming, home, having suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. Authorities discovered a .41 caliber revolver, suspected to be the weapon used, concealed within the residence.
