On January 20, 2025, at approximately 8:06 p.m., Gillette Police responded to reports of gunfire at a residence in the 600 block of Carey Avenue in Gillette, Wyoming. Officers located an adult female with multiple gunshot wounds; Emergency Medical Services transported her to Campbell County Health, where she was pronounced dead at 8:32 p.m. The Campbell County Coroner identified the victim as Haleigh Marie Myers Martinez, a Hispanic female, age 33, of Gillette.
