On April 30, 2023, 15-year-old BayLee Gene Carabajal-Clark was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting at Lincoln Park in Cheyenne, Wyoming. BayLee, a ninth-grader at South High School, was playing basketball with her siblings and cousins when a black SUV drove by, and shots were fired, one of which struck her in the head. She was transported to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries on May 1, 2023.
