Death by Force

On the evening of May 13, 2023, Yellowstone law enforcement officers responded to Craig Pass, approximately three miles south of Old Faithful, where they found a single vehicle lodged in a snowbank with a male standing outside and a deceased female inside the car. The deceased was later identified as Catheryn Danyelle Griffin, a 38-year-old White female from Seffner, Florida. The road between Old Faithful and West Thumb was closed for about 24 hours while investigators processed the scene.
