On June 14, 2018, 35-year-old Derrick Lefthand was fatally shot in Bismarck, North Dakota. Police responded to reports of gunfire at an apartment around 9:30 PM and found Lefthand with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
