James Jorgenson, a 53-year-old man from Grand Forks, North Dakota, was fatally shot on July 4, 2024. The incident occurred at Sledsters Food & Brew, a bar located in downtown Grand Forks. Police responded to reports of a shooting at the establishment shortly after 7 p.m. and found Jorgenson inside with gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
