Tyler Nathan Talmage, a bright 14-year-old boy from Grand Forks, North Dakota, had a promising future ahead of him. A budding bookworm, he was particularly fascinated by the natural world, especially dinosaurs and snakes. Beyond his academic interests, Tyler was a playful child who enjoyed spending time with his pet guinea pigs and immersing himself in the virtual worlds of video games.
