The quiet community of Hanamaulu, Kauai, was shaken in the early morning hours of November 19, 2016, by a violent incident that ended in the deaths of Janese Singh, 40, and her ex-husband, Juanito Singh, 67. Police were called to their apartment in Kalepa Village around 3:45 a.m. after reports of gunshots disturbed the peaceful neighborhood.
