In the late afternoon of Wednesday, March 28, 2007, a burst of violence shattered the day in a Southeast Washington, D.C. neighborhood. Troy D. Bussey, a male, was shot and killed at approximately 4:11 p.m. in the 4600 block of G Street, SE. The incident left a family and community grappling with a sudden and tragic loss.
