At approximately 12:40 a.m., Inesha Miller was shot in front of a residence at 2504 Pomeroy Road. First responders rushed to the scene and transported her to a nearby hospital, where she clung to life for three days. Despite the efforts of medical staff, she ultimately succumbed to her injuries on Friday, April 27, 2007.
The investigation into the death of the female Washington, D.C. resident was promptly launched by the Metropolitan Police Department.
