In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of a man known as 'Butter' came to a violent end. On April 29, 2007, at approximately 1:00 am, Joseph Jackson was killed in the rear of the 3500 block of 7th Street, SE. The circumstances surrounding his death prompted an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department, which classified the case as a homicide.
