On September 3, 2023, at approximately 3:45 a.m., Kansas City Police officers responded to reports of a shooting near West 9th Street and Jefferson Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Antwan Hill lying unresponsive in a park area, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services transported Hill to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
