Death by Force

On August 25, 1984, a tragic event unfolded at the Guest Service Station near Attalla, Alabama, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. Among the victims was 51-year-old Wilbur T. Nelson, an employee at the station. The other victims included 21-year-old Ronald Michael Guest, the son of the station owner, and customers Robert William Payne, 43, and his wife Nancy Payne, 29. All four were fatally shot during a robbery that yielded approximately $400.
