On August 5, 1999, in Pelham, Alabama, 28-year-old Christopher Scott Yancy was tragically killed in a workplace shooting. Yancy, employed at Ferguson Enterprises, was one of three victims in a deadly rampage carried out by his coworker, Alan Eugene Miller. Miller, a delivery truck driver, entered the Ferguson building that morning and fatally shot Yancy and another colleague, 32-year-old Lee Holdbrooks.
