In the early spring of 2008, the life of 41-year-old Travis Raynard Thompson was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Thompson had made a home in Birmingham, where he was a member of the Nichols Temple A.M.E. Church in Ensley.
