On November 1, 2008, 19-year-old Jamie L. Hedgeman was fatally shot at the Kimbrough Homes complex in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred just before 1 p.m. in the Wenonah community.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested Rodriquez Maurice Williams and Cortez Towns in connection with Hedgeman's death. Both were charged with murder.
