On a tragic Tuesday, March 10, 2009, in the small town of Samson, Alabama, the life of 31-year-old Andrea Dawn Myers was cut short in a senseless act of violence. A former volunteer firefighter from Kansas, she was a devoted wife to Geneva County Sheriff's Deputy Joshua Myers and a loving mother to their children. That afternoon, Andrea and her two young daughters were visiting neighbors across the street from their home.
