On March 10, 2009, in Samson, Alabama, 18-month-old Corrine Gracy Myers was tragically killed during a mass shooting that claimed the lives of ten individuals. The perpetrator, Michael McLendon, initiated his violent spree by murdering his mother and setting her house ablaze in Kinston, Alabama. He then drove to Samson, where he targeted his relatives and others.
