In the quiet woods of Winston County, Alabama, a grim discovery was made on a remote logging road near Double Springs. Inside a car, the bodies of four individuals from Savannah, Tennessee, were found, each having succumbed to shotgun blasts. Among them was Robert Samuel Hamrick, a 30-year-old male. The others were identified as his 39-year-old ex-wife, Kristie Hunt Campbell Hamrick, her 38-year-old brother, Andy Keith Hunt, and a 30-year-old family friend, Kevin Carey.
