On a Tuesday morning in Prichard, Alabama, the life of Andrew Shane Herlong, a 41-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On November 11, 2014, Herlong was fatally shot during a robbery in the parking lot of a BP gas station on St. Stephens Road. Remembered as a kind and friendly man who never met a stranger, his sudden death sent ripples of shock and grief through his community. Herlong, a 1992 graduate of Ben C.
