In the early hours of March 2, 2024, a burst of violence at a local motel in Prichard, Alabama, cut short the life of 46-year-old Adrian Mitchell. A male visitor to the area, Mitchell was at Moody's Motel on St. Stephens Road when a dispute escalated into a fatal shooting. His body was later discovered about a block away from the scene of the altercation. The Prichard Police Department launched a homicide investigation into the shooting, treating it as a serious and targeted act of violence.
