Roderick Reed, a 33-year-old man from Prichard, Alabama, was fatally shot on January 15, 2015, in an incident that left the local community in shock. The shooting occurred in the evening hours when Prichard police responded to a call about gunfire in the 1400 block of St. Stephens Road. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Reed suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to administer medical aid, he was pronounced dead shortly after the police arrived.
