On February 15, 2015, 11-year-old Donald Dewayne "DJ" Simms Jr. tragically lost his life in Gaylesville, Alabama. Born on December 17, 2003, in Grand Bay, Mobile County, Alabama, DJ was the son of Donald Dewayne Simms and Lisa Louise Simms. He was a student at Gaylesville School, where he was known for his enthusiasm and friendly nature.
