In February 2015, 15-year-old Jason Glenn Richards of Albertville, Alabama, was reported missing after last being seen at a Zaxby's restaurant in Guntersville. Despite initial beliefs that he had run away, concerns grew as time passed without any contact from him. On May 12, 2015, acting on a tip, authorities discovered Jason's body in a wooded area on Lois Lane in the Langston community. An autopsy revealed he had died from a single gunshot wound to the head.
