On June 15, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a tragic incident occurred at the Mueller Company plant in Albertville, Alabama. During the third shift, employee Andreas Deon Horton, 34, opened fire on his colleagues using a handgun. The shooting resulted in the deaths of two employees: 44-year-old David Lee Horton and 44-year-old Michael Lee Dobbins, both residents of Boaz, Alabama.
