Berhanu Berhanu, a 41-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was shot and killed in the early morning hours of May 24, 2008. The incident took place around 1:36 a.m. in the 1900 block of 9th Street, NW. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the circumstances around the shooting remain unclear, and authorities are actively investigating the homicide.
