On October 8, 2015, 50-year-old Robert Wayne Mitchell was found dead in Alexander City, Alabama, the victim of a fatal shooting. Mitchell's body was discovered inside his residence, located in a quiet neighborhood of the city. Authorities responded to the scene after receiving a call reporting gunfire, and it was quickly determined that Mitchell had been shot multiple times. Despite attempts to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
