On November 13, 2015, 30-year-old Brandon Terrell Harris was found shot to death in a car behind his residence on Wadsworth Street SE in Decatur, Alabama. Investigations revealed that Harris had sold fake marijuana to two individuals, Jovan Deante Anderson and Gary Lorenzo Hill Jr. Upon discovering the deception, Anderson and Hill confronted Harris at his home, leading to the fatal shooting.
