Death by Force

On April 7, 2016, in Clay, Alabama, 38-year-old Jody Marie Watson was fatally shot by her boyfriend, Jeremy Conway Hardin. The incident occurred in the kitchen of their shared residence on Yellowhammer Drive. Two of Watson's three children were present during the shooting and sought help from a neighbor. Hardin called 911 to report the shooting and was taken into custody at the scene.
