Steven Merriweather, a 20-year-old from Montgomery, Alabama, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2016, in a violent incident that shocked the local community. Merriweather was shot and killed in what police described as a robbery attempt. The homicide took place in the area around the 1900 block of East South Boulevard.
