On a late spring evening in Montgomery, Alabama, the life of 23-year-old Johnny Matthew Butler, Jr. was cut short by gunfire. The male victim was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The incident, which also left two other individuals injured, took place in the 3800 block of Ann Street.
