Terry Wayne Roberts, a 55-year-old man from Empire, Alabama, was tragically killed on May 30, 2016, in a shooting that authorities later confirmed to be a homicide. Roberts was found dead at a residence in Empire after reports of gunfire in the area. When deputies from the Blount County Sheriff's Office arrived at the scene, they discovered Roberts with multiple gunshot wounds.
