On June 11, 2016, 53-year-old Kimberly "Starr" Mulder was last seen at her home in Wetumpka, Alabama. At the time, she was living with her ex-husband, Thomas Edward Whitehurst. Mulder had recently been hospitalized and was reportedly weak due to health issues. She was scheduled to travel to Birmingham for medical treatment but never arrived. Her personal belongings, including her vehicle, remained at her residence, and she was reported missing shortly thereafter.
