On March 19, 2016, a drive-by shooting in Wetumpka, Alabama, resulted in the deaths of 19-year-old D’Osha Jackson and 48-year-old Daryl Hunt. The incident also left Roderick Jones and Jacoreian Jennings critically injured. Authorities arrested Marcus Edwards in connection with the shooting; he was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of first-degree assault. The Wetumpka Police Department indicated that Edwards was the sole shooter involved in this tragic event.
