On June 30, 2016, in Eight Mile, Alabama, 40-year-old Michael Ray Fowler was fatally shot. The incident occurred early in the morning on Valhalla Drive. According to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office, Fowler was shot once in the chest with a .22-caliber pistol by 36-year-old Tina Isler, with whom he shared a residence.
