In the small, close-knit community of Tuskegee, Alabama, the summer of 2016 was shattered by a violent act that claimed the life of 27-year-old Joshua Thompson. On August 18th, reports of gunfire drew law enforcement to a residential area where they made a grim discovery. Thompson was found lifeless, having been shot multiple times at close range in what investigators quickly determined was a targeted attack.
