Murdered

On October 7, 2016, 74-year-old Joseph Elmer "Buddy" Broughton was found deceased in his residence in the Crossroads Community of Bay Minette, Alabama. His wife discovered him unconscious, and upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced him dead, identifying a gunshot wound to the back of his head as the cause. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Office initiated a homicide investigation, collecting evidence and interviewing family members.
