On February 21, 2017, in Bay Minette, Alabama, 64-year-old Hubbard Junior Hall fatally shot his 41-year-old son, Mark Hall, at Hubbard's residence. The incident was reportedly triggered by an earlier altercation during a car ride home from a baseball game in Mobile, where Mark allegedly struck his 12-year-old daughter after receiving an upsetting phone call.
