On a Wednesday evening, November 19, 2008, the life of Carlos Christopher Smith was cut short. At approximately 10 p.m., he was shot and killed inside a residence at 890 Southern Avenue, SE in Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide and Sexual Offenses Branch is actively investigating the case.
