On January 7, 2009, at approximately 6:30 p.m., 16-year-old DeVante Glover, also known as "Boo Boo," was tragically shot and killed in the 1400 block of Morris Road, Southeast, Washington, D.C. The Metropolitan Police Department received a report of the incident and arrived at the scene to find Glover suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Despite the quick response, he succumbed to his injuries at the location.
