In the early morning hours of a summer Sunday in Washington, D.C., tragedy struck Dallas Williams, a 23-year-old man from the city. On June 14, 2009, at approximately 4:11 a.m., Williams was in the 900 block of Division Avenue, NE when he was fatally shot. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Williams suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene, where he was pronounced dead.
